This working mother cow operation is looking good this year. Consists of 4,750 deeded acres w/1,600 acres of NM State grazing lease and 3 BLM parcels totaling 660 acres. The ~7,060 acre ranch is a mother cow operation at present and has handled much larger capacity yearling operation during summer months. The ranch is well watered w/a number of playa tanks and a solar well. There are traps & working pens w/chutes at various locations. Terrain is mesa top, lush grassy valleys, cuestas & arroyos. Rim rock ledges boast boulders & awesome views. Grasses include bluestem, dropseed, galleta, sideoats, cottontop, sacaton and other native specie. Some cholla and cedars are scattered. North boundary is Conchas Lake and the views are long. There are smaller pasture parcels are located south of Hwy 104. Most of the ranch lies on the north side of the Hwy.
