About Ryan
Ryan Maupin first came to Los Alamos in 1998 and quickly grew to love the community and the people who call Northern New Mexico home. After a distinguished 20-year career at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a systems engineer, group leader, and program manager, Ryan began his real estate career with RE/MAX First in 2019.
Drawing on his analytical background and problem-solving experience, Ryan founded The Maupin Group in 2021 to provide clients with high-level service, clear communication, and expert guidance throughout every stage of the buying and selling process. Since then, The Maupin Group has become one of New Mexico’s top-performing real estate teams, earning the #1 RE/MAX team ranking in New Mexico from 2022–2025 while also receiving the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement awards.
Ryan earned engineering degrees from MIT and Stanford University, along with an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
